The Role Of Kopontren Hamdalah In Improving Economic Welfare And Infrastructure At The Raudhatul Muta'allimin Al Aziziyah 2 Sebaneh Bangkalan

Abstract

The development of islamic boarding schools is influenced by a good education system and institutional governance, the increasing number of students and the strength of an independent economy. Therefore, realizing an independent economy requires good systems and bisnis models that must be formed by Islamic boarding school. This research aims to analyze the role of Kopontren Hamdalah in inproving economic welfare and infrastructure at the Raudhatul Muta’allimin Al-Aziziyah 2 Sebaneh Bangkalan. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with interview and observation data collection techniques. Data analysis used is deductive and inductive data analysis which is drawn from general to specific data and vice versa from specific to general facts. This research shows that Hamdalah plays a strategic role in meeting the needs of students by providing affordable products and prices, as well as serving as a medium for teaching students about entrepreneurship. As a source of income for Islamic boarding schools, Hamdalah is able to support the provision of infrastructure such as the construction of dormitories, bathrooms, and study rooms for students.
