Abstract


This study aims to determine the description of the employee management system for MSME food traders in the religious tourism area of the Tomb of Sultan Abdul Kadirun. Quality of human resources certainly cannot be separated from the human resource development system that is implemented. One way to see the quality of human resources is to look at the HR management system that is carried out.

This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The subjects of the study were MSME food or souvenir traders in the tourist area of the Tomb of Sultan Abdul Kadirun in Bangkalan City. The subjects of the study were selected based on two criteria: 1) workers or owners of MSME crafts engaged in the food or souvenir trade, 2) the MSME was in the Bangkalan area when the study was conducted. In this study, the researcher acted as a research instrument. The data collection methods used were interviews and observations. The qualitative data analysis method used followed the Bogdan and Biklen method (1992).
