Hardiness Pedagang Wanita di Pasar Tradisional Bangkalan
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran hardiness pedagang wanita di pasar tradisional Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan survei. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 pedagang wanita di pasar tradisional Ki Lemah Duwur dan pasar tradisional Kwanyar yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui instrumen adaptasi dari 15-Item Hardiness Scale dikembangkan oleh Bartone (1995; 2007) dengan koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha (α) sebesar 0,728. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, hasil uji statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar subjek penelitian memiliki hardiness kategori sedang, hal ini berarti bahwa subjek penelitian cukup tangguh dalam bertahan dan mengatasi tantangan serta tekanan terkait usaha yang dijalani, tidak mudah putus asa, serta memiliki keberanian terhadap suatu perubahan. Berdasarkan mean masing-masing komponen diketahui commitment memiliki mean lebih tinggi dibanding komponen yang lain, hal ini berarti subjek penelitian cenderung terlibat sepenuh hati dalam aktifitas dan situasi yang sedang dijalani yakni sebagai pedagang di pasar tradisional.
